Chocolate Banana (and Raspberry) Wontons

I was looking through Pinterest (who isn’t nowadays) and I saw this Pin for dessert wontons. I was obviously intrigued. It is a weight watchers recipe that was posted on the Doctor Oz web site so I figured it would be safe as far as calories.

Here are the ingredients they said to have:
Makes 6 servings
2 servings butter-flavor cooking spray
1 large banana, diced
6 tbsp mini chocolate chips
24 wonton wrappers (half of 12 oz package)
1 tbsp powdered sugar

Here is what they said to do:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.

In a medium bowl, combine banana and chocolate chips, and mix gently.

Place wonton wrappers on flat surface. Drop teaspoonfuls of banana mixture onto center of each wrapper. Moisten edges of each wrapper with wet fingers, and fold over one corner to make a triangle and press sides together to seal. Transfer filled wrappers to prepared baking sheet.

Bake 10-12 minutes, until wontons are golden brown. Sift powdered sugar over wontons before serving. Yields 4 wontons per serving.

I got dark chocolate since I am getting a taste for dark since it healthier than milk chocolate. Unfortunately I bought regular chips rather than mini so I just counted out 5 chips for each wonton. And my wife does not like bananas (weird) so I used raspberries for hers.

The only problem with the little chocolate chips is that I kept popping little chocolate chips in my mouth every now and then.

Half for me and half for my wife.

It was a little difficult folding up the wontons. The mini chocolate chips are probably better.

I kind of wish my wife liked bananas just so I could have traded her one. The raspberries looked good.

Ready for the oven.

They did not turned out as pretty as the ones from the Dr. Oz site and the raspberries sort of leaked out of a few of them.

Here are mine with the chocolate and banana.

They were sweet and tasty. I liked the different texture with the wontons but to keep the calories count down I did not use that much chocolate. I was able to get these to be 162 calories for 3 of them.
